Christmas Cookie Rules

Christmas Cookie Rules...
1. If you eat a Christmas cookie fresh out of the oven, it has no calories because everyone knows that the first cookie is the test and thus calorie free.
2. If you drink a diet soda after eating your second cookie, it also has no calories because the diet soda cancels out the cookie calories.
3. If a friend comes over while you're making your Christmas cookies and needs to sample, you must sample with your friend. Because your friend's first cookie is calories free, (rule #1) yours is also. It would be rude to let your friend sample alone and, being the friend that you are, that makes your cookie calorie free.
4. Any cookie calories consumed while walking around will fall to your feet and eventually fall off as you move. This is due to gravity and the density of the caloric mass.
5. Any calories consumed during the frosting of the Christmas cookies will be used up because it takes many calories to lick excess frosting from a knife without cutting your tongue.
6. Cookies colored red or green have very few calories. Red ones have three and green ones have five - one calorie for each letter. Make more red ones!
7. Cookies eaten while watching "Miracle on 34th Street" have no calories because they are part of the entertainment package and not part of one's personal fuel.
8. As always, cookie pieces contain no calories because the process of breaking
Causes calorie leakage.
9. Any cookies consumed from someone else's plate have no calories since the calories
Rightfully belong to the other person and will cling to their plate.
We all know how calories like to CLING!
10. Any cookies consumed while feeling stressed have no calories because cookies used for medicinal purposes NEVER have calories. It's a rule!

So, go out and enjoy those Christmas Cookies - we only get them this time of year!

New Additions

Well we got 2 more additions to the family than I had planned for this weekend. On Saturday we got a replacement betta fish. A yellow female betta. I still have to take a picture of her. Morgan has named her Elizabeth. They did not have one that looked like Sally so we had to explain to Morgan that Sally did not make it but that we would be able to pick out a new one.

Then this morning Matt got a call from his brother and they had 2 kittens left out of their litter. So we went down to pick out one and came home with two. Brother and Sister kittens. The boys name is Jaxson and the girl is Daisy.

So far they are doing very well here at our house. The girls LOVE having the kittens. Especially Morgan, which surprised me because she said she did not want a kitten that she only wanted a dog or a hamster. Which we were getting neither of those. Morgan has really taken to Daisy. She doesn't really want to bother with Jaxson. So far its working out having 2 kittens because the girls cant fight over just one.

Meet Daisy (left) and Jaxson (right)!

Friday Night Soccer

Morgan is back in soccer. She did not want to sign up for the Fall session of outdoor soccer at sign up time and then changed her mind. So we were able to get in the indoor soccer session and I actually like it a lot better. Here is a picture of Morgan and her buddy Lauren (striped pants) goofing off at soccer practice last night.

And here is the team. Go Cyclones! Go Gold! Do you like how Sydney joined the team? There she is in the pink pants off to the left :) Next Friday is game night. I guess we will see how these kids do.

Oh Christmas Tree

The Sunday after Thanksgiving we all loaded up in the truck and headed off to the local Tree Farm to cut down our Christmas tree for 2009. It was about 50 degree's out so we could not have asked for a better day. The girls had a blast walking through all of the tree's to find the perfect one. We marked the tree's we liked with twigs and then came back through one final time. We had a hard time deciding on a tree so in the end we let the girls pick out the tree and they got a good one. The photo above is of Matt and tghe girls in front of the tree. Sydney was quite obviously not cooperating that day. She was ready to go home and not interested in a family picture.

Here goes the tree. Timber! Actually I think poor Matt fell harder than the tree. He always has a hard time with the dull crappy saws from from the free farm. He went face first on top of the tree. But its down and in our living room.

Bye Bye Sally

Goodbye Sally, I hope you had an enjoyable time in our home over the last week. This is the new fish, Sally, that the girls picked out almost 2 weeks ago at the pet store. Morgan named her Sally. The girls were so excited about the new fish. Who knew a $2.99 beta fish could bring so much joy into the kids lives. Well I had a bad feeling this little fishy wouldn't last long at our house because we would not eat. Days went by with no eating and then finally a week went by. About a week and a half after her arrival she went to "sleep". The kids loved her so much I really couldn't tell them that 2 of our fish had died in the matter of 2 weeks. So today Matt is on a mission to take Sally to the Doctor and come up with a much more refreshed Sally. Since Morgan picked the sad little white beta fish I am guessing she is not the most popular color and hopefully there are a few of her sisters left at the pet store. So good luck to Matt and we will see what he comes home with.

New Moon...Opening Night....Ahhh there is nothing sweeter.

All I have to say is amazing. I LOVE the Twilight Saga book and I love Twilight the 1st movie so I was a little worried my expectations would be too high for New Moon. This movie was GREAT, AMAZING, I loved it. I couldn't be happier that I was able to make it out for opening night. There was a midnight showing and trust me I would have went could I have found someone to go with me. Now I can not wait for Eclipse and think I am going to have to re-read the books. The books are great and such a good read. New Moon really captured the book well and stayed very true to the story. Now I am 100% Team Edward but this movie really makes you fall in love with Jacob and his pack! Now get out there and see the movie if you have not done so already!

RIP Boots

Rest in Peace Boots! You will be missed. You brought so much joy to all of our lives. This probably not what you are thinking. I did not have to turn in my favorite pair of shoes. Morgan & Sydney's Beta fish, Boots, passed away Thursday night. We had him for a year and a half so I guess that a decent amount of time for a Beta Fish. I have read they live on average for 2 years. I have to admit I will miss the little guy swimming like crazy when I could come near his bowl.

Poor Morgan took it a little harder than I imagined. She cried quite a bit and was very concerned that he made it to heaven with our old dog, Aspen, and her Grandpa C. Hopefully he is in a better place. A fishy heaven where he can swim all day long.

Sookie Stackhouse is back

Well Sookie is back in my house. I can't believe it was back in July that I first started to read this book. I didn't get very far in the 3 weeks that I had the book on loan from the library. I am sure the fact that it was summer and I had got a motorcycle had nothing to do with the fact that I never finished the book.
Well now that its fall and we are not riding the bikes and not really getting outside much since its been so cold, I thought it would be a great time to pick up this book again. So I put in a request for this book from the library and got it last week. I requested the 2nd book in this series as well thinking it would take a while to get a copy but I just got a call today that its in so I have a lot of reading to do new the next 4 weeks. I need to read both books in 4 weeks. I am almost half way through Book 1 so it shouldn't be a problem. I really like these books a lot. I am not quiet sure how I got roped into these Vampire love stories. I am a sucker for romance. It could be a bunch of worms and I think if it were romantic I would want to read it. Haha!
I will make sure I report on the 2nd book once I get to it. Had anyone else read these books? What did you think? I was never a much of a reader when I was a kid but I sure do enjoy it now. Must be something about the quiet time...

Cinnamon Muffin Melts

OK, brace yourselves for the most delicious muffin you will ever taste. I hosted a Tastefully Simple party back in the middle of October and with the free product I was able to earn I got the Cinnamon Muffin Melts. OMG so good! They taste a lot like the Apple Cider donuts from Edward's Apple Orchard. I made them last weekend for breakfast and they were a hit. Matt and the girls loved them. I sent one home with my Dad and he said he wished he had been sent home with more than just one. So if you happen to be invited to a Tastefully Simple party anytime soon make sure you add a box to your order you will Thank me later.

Halloween 2009

Halloween this year was the best one I have celebrated so far. On Friday night Matt & I went out with some of our friends and had an absolute blast. We went to a house party that my friend Sena hosted and it was so fun. Good people, tasty food, fun Apple Pie shots, and great costumes.

I was a Honey Bee and Matt was an "Old Man".
Then Saturday Night we took the kids trick or treating. We were joined by my Mom, Brother, niece Zoey, Charlotte, my friend Tim and his daughter.
Definitely a great year. Cant wait for Halloween 2010!!!

Sandwhich Thins

Move over plain old white bread there is a new kind of Sandwhich in town. So I have held off on buying these Sandwhich Thins so many people have told me about because I was too "cheap" to spend a few extra dollars on them. Well after months of walking past them on the grocery store shelves I decided to give them a try. They are so good. Morgan even loves them and she is not a sandwhich person but she will gobble up a sandwhich made with these sandwhich thins. They are 100 calories for the whole bun and only 5 points.

Watch out or I might sting you

After a long costume hunt I finally found my Halloween costume today. I was beginning to think I was never going to find a costume. Its so hard everything is either too small or too big, covers too much or covers too little. But I think I may have something perfect for me. I am going to be a Honey Bee!!!

22 Days and counting

Holy Cats I can not believe that there are only 22 days left to go until the release of New Moon. I am so super excited. I cant wait to see this movie. I already have a couple of dates so looks like I will be seeing this movie more than once. Which is perfectly OK with me.

Full Circle

Creed's new album, Full Circle, was released yesterday and I ran out on my lunch yesterday to buy my copy. I LOVE it but that is no surprise to me as they are my FAVORITE band. I have to say Scott Stapp's (the one in the white long sleeve shirt) new look is super HOT!

You have to check out the new "Rain" video on YouTube. I love the video and the song.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qrp5JmejSE

Isabel's Closet

Another thing my friend told me about this weekend is about a resale shop in downtown Rockton called Isabel's Closet. You can take your gently used kids clothes in there for cash or in store credit. I took in 2 bags of stuff and got a $75.00 in store credit. I couldn't believe it. Then I bought a bunch of clothes for Morgan and some PJ's. Right now they are having a buy one get one free special. It's a really cute shop. They have antiques and other new items in the store for sale.

I recommend checking it out or taking your goods in there.

Snow White...not whats outside right now but the movie

Here is the link to a $10.00 off coupon for the movie, Snow White. It expires today so act fast.
Thanks to my buddy and neighbor I was able to get this coupon and use it today. I was actually looking forward to the release of Snow White. A great childhood movie that I look forward to sharing with my daughters.

New Moon Treats

I couldn't believe my eye's this morning when Heidi (one of my friends at work) strolled into my office this morning and what did she have in her hands. New Moon Sweetharts!
Heidi's sweetie of a man picked these up for her. The hearts say " I love EC", Bite Me (my fav), Sparkle, ect. These are too cool. I asked Heidi to find out where he found them. I just might have to get a box for myself but which one to get? Edward OR Jacob?

Poopy's

Yes, you heard me correctly, I said Poopy's. Just 2 weeks ago I took a motorcycle trip from South Beloit through Monroe, Galena, and finally ending in Savanna, IL. The whole trip was about 250 miles. It was just an amazing day. I went with my Dad, my husband, and a group of my Dad's friends. It was a beautiful day and I just can not describe any more amazing of a way to enjoy the changing of the fall colors other than a motorcycle ride with the wind in your hair. The scenery was gorgeous, really I felt like words just could not describe it. As most of you know I have really been enjoying learning to ride a motorcycle this summer, taking the safety class, getting my license and finally getting my dream bike!
Once we got into Savanna our first stop was at the Iron Horse Social Club. This place was pretty cool aside from the toilets not working. Very old time western saloon feeling. They had antique bikes all over the place. Even ones from the 1900's which were pretty much 10 speed bike frames with a motor on them. Then the most interesting part about this bar was the upstairs. There is a wedding chapel up there. You can actually get married here.

So we arrive at our final destination, POOPY'S! This place is very cool. Its a restaurant/bar, then there is a retail shop, a tattoo parlor, the largest outdoor patio I have ever seen, and also a permanent concert stage. This place is huge and there were hundreds of bike there.

Here is my baby among all of the other bikes.

More and more bikes. I am already looking forward to the trip next year. Hopefully we will have better weather on the ride home. So on the way home the sky when from bright and sunny to almost black. I was very nervous and really wanted to get home as fast as I could because I had never drove in rain before on the bike. So I wasn't sure what to expect. We were not lucky enough to dodge the rain. I felt one rain drop, then a few more, next thing I knew I was soaked. We had to pull over at a gas station with an awning because it began to hail. Boy o Boy, this trip broke me in. I think I have pretty much experienced it all. So as soon as the rain let up we took off. But it was not long before the lovely rain was back. So we rode back soaking wet and cold in the rain for 80 miles. Really it was quite the story and an experience but I wouldn't sign up for riding in the rain again anytime soon.

Fresh Breath

OK, I know I have not been blogging much and when I do it seems to be about motorcycles or Twilight. So this mornings blog is kind of a strange one. Its about toothpaste. Yes, I said toothpaste. I used the new Crest Outlast this morning and they claim in lasts longer than other toothpastes and its been 2 hours since I brushed and my mouth still feels like I just brushed. Its pretty amazing. I am very picky about toothpaste. The flavor and texture is great too. So I highly recommend.

75 Days and counting down

Only 75 days left until the release of the movie New Moon. Its getting closer and I am SO excited.

Edward's Apple Orchard

We made our first trip out to Edward's Apple Orchard yesterday. This is the first time I have gone out there so early in the year but we were all craving the Apple Cider Donuts so we planned a little trip out there. We came home with Apples, donuts, gummy bears, gummy worms, and caramel apples. Yumm! This is one of my favorite places to visit in the fall and a place that I have been going to since I was a kid.

Upgrade

I never imagined it would happen so quickly but I was recently able to upgrade from my 2004 Buell Blast to a 2009 Harley Davidson 883 Sportster Custom. I love this bike. The color is two tone light candy root beer and dark candy root beer. The color was only produced from January-March of 2009. This is definitely a upgrade and going to make riding that much more enjoyable. Matt and I went out to dinner last night and actually had a hard time getting out of the parking lot due to the crowd of admirers.

Motorcycle Safety Classes

This past weekend I enrolled in a Motorcycle Safety Foundation class. I put in 22 hours of training in 2 1/2 days. I was very lucky to find a coarse that was very close to my house. About a mile away! If you are thinking of taking a class like this I would highly recommend it. I learned more this weekend that I ever could have all on my own. It was a fun class, we had great instructors and a fun group of people. At the end of the day yesterday I was very proud to have received my certification for passing the class. I had a near perfect score on the driving evaluation and only 1 question wrong out of the 50 that were on the written test. What a fun weekend! I would do it again in a heart beat.

Weekend Re-Cap

Well last weekend was way too fun and went by way too fast. Saturday was the annual Boar's Nest Poker run for SMILES. It was a blast as always and we had great friends join us for the day. Nice bikes, great company, cold brewsky's, and good food. Can't ask for much more than that. At one of the stops we tried a new beer I have never had before and it was delish. I am going to try and pick some up so we have it at home. It was from the New Glarus Brewery and the first beer we tried was Spotted Cow.

Man, is this stuff good. I think they only distribute in Wisconsin. Good thing we live so close to the border. I am not a major beer person but this was very good.

Then we enjoyed the Spotted Cow so much we decided to try Totally Naked. Yes, its a beer. Get your mind out of the gutter. This was actually my favorite.

It's got a little sweetness to it's flavor and very smooth. I am hooked.

I am definitely ready for another weekend like this one. As for this weekend its going to be class, class, class for me. Friday, Saturday and Sunday I am going to be taking the Motorcycle Training & Safety course. It's 22 hours of training in 2 1/2 days. Lets just hope for cool weather and no rain. Wish me luck. If all goes well on Tuesday I will have my class M license! Watch out world, here I come. Vroom, vroom!

Another New Moon Preview

Check out the new New Moon preview. This movie is going to ROCK. I have read all of the Twilight Saga books and just love the first movie. So let me tell you that I just can not wait for the release of the New Moon movie.

Can I get me a Jacob of Edward of my own?

See you on 11/20/09!

Its Poker Run time

Well it's that time of year again. Time for the annual poker run that my Aunt's bar hosts. This is one of my favorite things to do each year. Most of my family is there, all of the people are really nice, and this year we have a group of friends riding up with us today. Cant wait its supposed to be sunny and 88. So a perfect day for cruisin around.

98 days and counting

98 days until the opening of New Moon...Can you tell I am just a little bit excited?

G - Force

Last Saturday Night Morgan and I had a little girls night out and went to go see the movie G - Force! It was super cute and I was cracking up in the movie. The Guinea Pigs are just too cute. I remember back when I had a Guinea pig, his name was Nickers. Actually it started out being my cousin Brandon's and then he lost interest so good ole Granny passed him onto our house. Well dear old Dad was trying to do a good thing by setting off a bug bomb in the house but forgot poor little Nickers in there. So sad. Dad tried to rush in a save him but it was a little too late, the bomb got to him. RIP Nickers! But on a happier note the movie was really good just in case you were thinking of going to see it.
Now I see that Aliens in the Attic are a part of the 5 Buck Club this weekend so we might have to get out there and go see that one too. Oh if you are not apart of the 5 Buck Club you really need to check it out. You register for FREE and you can register everyone in your family. They send you cards and email updates of the movied that are apart of the 5 Buck Club. Its such a good deal because its cheaper than the matinee prices and cheaper than the regular kids prices. You can go to: www.fivebuckclub.net to register.

What a FAB week

What a fabulous week is has been and its only Tuesday. Well for starters I am off all week on vacation with the kids so who can ask for a better week when it doesn't involve working.
The living room carpets were cleaned on Monday and it looks brand new again. So I am definitely LOVIN' that.
Then the last 2 afternoons were spent pool side. Yesterday we headed off to the playground and pool with my friend and her son. We had so much fun yesterday that the girls and I headed back again today for another fun filled afternoon at the pool. Followed by DQ ice cream treats today.
Not sure what the plan is for tomorrow it might be my cleaning and running errands day so that we can do something else fun Thursday and Friday. I think a trip to the zoo might have to be in our plans for week as well.

True Blood

Has any one been watching the True Blood series? I just finished up the last episode of Season 1 on DVD last weekend. Thanks to Netflix which has been one of my favorite investments. A friend of mine told me it was like the adult version of Twilight so of coarse I had to check it out. At first I was like "What is this cheesy mess I am watching" but kind of like a train wreck I couldn't look away. Now I am hooked. I am only wishing I had HBO so I could watch it so I guess I will just have to wait for Season 2 on DVD. Oh by the way if you havent seen the series it is NOT for kids. Once you see it you will know why.
So in the mean time I thought I would check out the books that the TV series is based on. I went online and requested a copy of the first book, Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris, from my library. All of the books were checked out so I was thinking it was going to take a while to get a copy but to my surprise when I returned home from work yesterday there was a message on my machine letting me know that the book was in. So I rushed off to pick up my book and get some groceries. Last night after the girls were all tucked in snug as a bug in a rug, I pulled out the book and began to read the first 7 pages. So far its pretty close to the first episode but we will see how the rest of it goes. If I don't get a chance to go riding this weekend I am hoping to get in some reading time. That is after a doctor's appointment, parade, and getting the kids pictures taken. Yes, it is never a dull moment at our house.

Cruisin' around town

So I have been trying to get in as much practice/riding on my motorcycle as possible. I would say things are going really well. Last Sunday Matt and I took a ride out to my Dad's house and aside from the woodchuck who decided to run out in front of me and jet back into the woods just in time and the bugs hitting me everywhere it wasn't so bad. It was funny because when we got to my Dad's he asked if it was fun. I told him I want sure at this time that I would classify it as fun. It was a bit scary to get up to 55 MPH. Honestly I was thinking to myself "What was I thinking getting a motorcycle, I am going to get myself killed on this thing". So then Monday Night my Dad came over to watch the girls and Matt and I rode down to Kohl's in Machesney. I thought I would be more scared than I was. It was actually fun this time. Now I am hoping for a day this weekend where we can get a sitter and go out for another ride. Every time seems to get a little better.

I'm Legal...

Well folks, I am legal on the motorcycle now. I took the written test today to get my permit and PASSED.

My New Bike

So here it is...My new bike and when I say bike, I really mean motorcycle. I have actually wanted my own bike for about 10 years now. I had been riding a big wheel out at my Dad's house and my mom took me to go look at 250 Ninja but I kind of chickened out. On top of that I don't think Matt liked entertaining the idea of me getting a bike. So I have talked about it periodically over the years but this year I really wanted to get one of my own and Matt was actually for it for once. So recently I have been back out at my Dad's house learning the basics to ride. Then one night my brother talked me into riding his bike. So after I tackled that I thought to myself "I can do this, if I can ride Jared's bike then I might as well just get my own". So I got lucky, big time. I was taking a walk in my neighborhood and saw this Buell parked for sale. So I had Matt go check it out a couple of days later. It was a deal we really couldnt pass up. So now its all mine. I am super excited and I have been praticing every day. And dont worry I am being super careful.

New Design

OK, That's better. I have to admit I really have no clue what I am doing when it comes to changing the layout of my blog. So any tips can just be passed my way. Sucks, but I pretty much had to re-do everything from scratch but so far I think it was worth it.

Under construction

Sorry the layout is going to be under construction for a little bit until I can get it looking the way I like it but you can still get all of our updates.

Happy Birthday Sydney!

Well my baby girl turned 2 this month and we had a super celebration for her birthday.
This is the My Little Pony cake that I made. I thought I did a pretty good job for my first time decorating a cake.

Everyone really seemed to enjoy the Pinata.
What a wonderful little girl we have and we look forward to many, MANY more birthdays. Happy Birthday my little Sydney Beans!

Our Green Garden

This is the girls garden that they planted this year. We decided to transform the messy sandbox into a garden for the girls. Its underneath the play house on their swing set. It has worked out perfect. After some research about plants that grow in partial sun, we decided to plant radishes,

chocolate mint, lettuce, and cucumbers. The girls have had so much fun planting the seeds and watching them grow. Now we just wait to enjoy the "Fruits" of our labor.

Really...Super Mario Brothers 3 for Wii...

Well we got a Wii in January and a few months ago someone told me that you could go online with the Wii (Really?) and download old Nintendo games (So Cool!). So my wonderful Dad and Brother finally hooked me up with wireless Internet for the house and I was able to download a few games. I have been playing Super Mario Brother 3 like there is no tomorrow. I can't believe how much of the games I actually remember. My fondest Nintendo memory would have to be playing Mario 3 down in my friend Nicole's basement and I was always in awe at how good her brother Scott was. We would all stay up until the wii (haha) hours of the night trying to beat the game. Oh the good old days of being a kid. The only worries in the world were beating the Mari 3 game!

OK, So for all of you who are ROBSESSED like I am. I bet you now can't wait for the release of New Moon in November.

I just finished watching the MTV Movie Awards and Twilight and the cast took home every award they were nominated for. I just knew it! If you have not read the Twilight Saga and haven't seen the movie you need to get on board. The books are so amazing you can't put them down and I love the movie.

So the sneak preview of New Moon was aired during the awards tonight and I am blown away. I can't wait to see this movie. It's going to be amazing. You know where to find me on November 20th!

I love me some Rob Pattinson!!!

Passing the time

Well I have not been blogging a whole lot lately. Just trying to enjoy the nice weather when it is hear, getting in some Harley rides with my hubby, and of coarse reading the 4th book in the Twilight series, Breaking Down. I am 1/2 way through the 4th book. I am pacing myself with this one because I have Jury Duty on Monday. This will be a first for me. Everyone says bring something to ready because you will be sitting around all day. So why not try and make the best of it with a great book.

I know many of you have not seen any pictures of the new addition to our family. Our 2003 Harley Davidson Dyna Super Glide. So here she is...

Matt is enjoying the bike A LOT and he's found lots of new things to add to his "wish list". I think he's been awful spoiled lately.

They're here...................

My books have finally arrived!!!!

Sydney Update:

Yes, aside from all of this Twilight excitement I have been taking care of my kids. Sydney is doing so much better and just finished the last of her antibiotics today to clear up the Pneumonia. I was worried that Morgan might catch it too but luckily so far she has not. We take Sydney on Friday to her doctor for a re-check to make sure she's getting better quite nicely.

Another Mail Delivery

Well Guys I am super excited for today's mail delivery. I am expecting Books 2-4 in the Twilight saga series. I finished Twilight, book 1, on Monday and I just about thought I wasn't going to make it through yesterday without book 2, New Moon. So I did come across a leaked draft copy of book 5, Midnight Sun, and I did start to read about for first 33 pages of that book yesterday to hold me over until today. So far that book is GREAT and it starts out as Edward's perspective of book 1. I have no idea how it ends so I don't want to get too far and spoil anything but now that the other books are on there way for today's delivery I shouldn't have a problem holding off on reading anymore of book 5. Then the set release date for the New Moon movie release on 11/20/09 and I plan on seeing it. (Steph, you and I have a date for this!)
I am curious as to Midnight Sun, book 5 will be released. I feel like such a kid with all of this but I don't get to take a lot of ME time having 2 young kids so I think this is way I am enjoying all of this so much. I am not crazy its just the one thing I have all to myself that I don't have to share with my family. However this morning Matt came across my DVD of Twilight and he was very excited to find out we owned our own copy and he said he wanted to watch it again and just might start reading the book that I just finished.

Mail Delivery

Well I have finished (well almost finished I have like 10 pages left) Twilight and today I received my delivery from Amazon with my copy of the DVD. Yesss! I have seen the movie like 3 times now but the DVD is going to have to hold me over until the other books arrive. Tomorrow or Wednesday I should have books 2-4! I went out Saturday with some friends and I was over joyed to have been able to talk to a group of girls who loved Edward Cullen and the whole Twilight saga as much as I do. Now I cant wait for book 2, New Moon. Also I came across a leaked draft of book 5! I want to read it but also don't want to ruin the book as I know the draft has not been edited and its only like 300 pages so it cant be the whole thing!

Twilight

OK so if you haven't already heard Twilight is my newest obsession. I rented the movie and watched it for the first time last Saturday Night by myself. Then watched it again on Sunday with Matt. Then.....ran to the bookstore to buy Twilight (Book 1). I started reading the book Sunday afternoon and now 6 days later I am 3/4 of the way through the book. I am not a big reader and not a super fast reader so this is a big deal for me. I have read only a couple other books as fast as I have read this one. My goal is to have this book finished by this coming Sunday because yesterday I ordered books 2-4 and a copy of the DVD! I ~*LOVED~* the movie and love the book just as much. I just cant wait to start New Moon (Book 2). However I was reading some things on line and read something that spoiled the next book for me a little bit but that kind of make me even more excited to start the next book. It is supposed to be delivered to me at work on Monday morning so I want to have this book finished so I can start the new book as soon as it arrives. So is there any of you out there that is loving the Twilight craze as much as I am? I was at the grocery store last night and Edward Cullen was on the cover of one of the magazines. I almost bought it just to find out more scoop on the characters and actors. I refrained but it was hard!
