This is the girls garden that they planted this year. We decided to transform the messy sandbox into a garden for the girls. Its underneath the play house on their swing set. It has worked out perfect. After some research about plants that grow in partial sun, we decided to plant radishes,
chocolate mint, lettuce, and cucumbers. The girls have had so much fun planting the seeds and watching them grow. Now we just wait to enjoy the "Fruits" of our labor.

What a great idea!! Michelle Obama would be proud. I had planted herbs on the side of our old house, but I never actually used them in our food because the dog liked to pee on them. Gross. It was fun to watch them grow, though.
