Trick or Treat - Smell my Feet

Happy Halloween to all of my Ghouls & Goblins! I just love Halloween. Its once of my favorite holidays. I love dressing up and of coarse eating lots of candy. Morgan was so excited this morning when I told her it was finally Halloween. She asked if we could go trick or treating right now. I told her she had to wait until I got home from work which brought a sad look to her face. Morgan & Sydney have a Halloween party today at their daycare and Morgan has been so excited to be a "Good Witch". We went on a mad hunt for this costume and she decides last night that she wants to be a princess today. So I sent her in her dress up princess dress and a super flashy pair of dress up shoes. Oh well it works and shes a happy camper so that's all that really matters. I am hoping she will want to be the Witch tonight when we go out trick or treating.
You have to love a 3yr old going on 4! Morgan tells me the other day that she learned at daycare that she can say "Trick or Treat Smell my Feet give me something Good to eat!" on Halloween. So this morning as she is brushing her teeth she tells me this is what she is going to yell tonight when she goes up to every ones door.
My brother, his girlfriend, and my niece Zoey are going to join us tonight in raiding our neighbors of their candy stashes.
Everyone please have a Happy & Safe Halloween.

Pistachio Cake

So after our adventure last night to the library and grocery store, Morgan and I baked an awesome Pistachio Cake. It was so super easy to make and it is delicious. Also perfect for the Halloween party because the cake and frosting were green!

Here is the recipe for anyone who would like to try it out:

Cake:

1 box of white cake

2 sm boxes of pistachio pudding mix

5 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup oil

Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake for 350 for 35 minutes. Let cool and then frost.

Frosting:

1 sm box pistachio pudding mix

1 container of Cool Whip

1 cup of milk

Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for an hour so the frosting will thicken up.

Then frost the cake!

It's so good!

How many word per minute can you type?

I actually had no idea until today how man words per minute that I could type. I actually thought it would be more than 50!

50 words

Well after I get off work today I am going to have a fun filled evening. I will make my 25 miles jaunt home to pick up the girls from daycare. We will then make a trip to the Talcott Free Libray in Rockton. We have had our fill of Beauty and the Beast and The Fox and the Hound. Morgan told me this morning she wants to check out Bambi. So once we finish picking out some favorite books and movies for the week we will then head to the grocery story. Once we get home and all settled from returning from Woodman's then it will be playing Betty Croker tonight for me. I plan on making dinner and then also baking a Pistachio Cake for a potluck luncheon at my work tomorrow. Then it will soon baths and bedtime stories will be in order. Finally hopefully a moment for Mommy to relax!
