Daughtry, Lifehouse, & Cavo

Something to look forward to. Warm weather and summer concerts. I got tickets for my Mom and I to go see Daughtry, Lifehouse, & Cavo in May. I love Daughtry & Lifehouse. I have not ever heard of Cavo but I got their CD today and I was surprised that I liked it. So I am really looking forward to rocking out with my Mama in a few months. We are just hoping it will warm enough to take out the motorcycles that day.

Timothy's Irish Cream Coffee

Welcome to my daily coffee updates. Ha-ha! I just thought I would share with my "readers" that Matt and I have both finally taste tested Timothy's Irish Cream Coffee in the k-cup. I thought it would have more of an Irish Cream flavor. Its pretty mild for flavored coffee but I knew this meant that Matt would love it. So he made a cup last night and said he really liked it a lot. We were talking last night about the coffee machine. I told him I was happy that he really liked it. We both agreed that we love being able to make 1 serving of coffee and to have the variety of being able to make any flavor that we want. We also turned our old turn table spice rack into a k-cup holder. Most of the spices we did not use AND they really needed to be tossed because I have had them since 2002. Gross, I know. I don't think spices have a shelf life of 8 years. So if anyone has a Keurig and has a favorite K-cup flavor please feel free to share you suggestions.

How I spent my MLK Day

I forgot to share with you all how I celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day. First of all I was lucky enough to have the day off from work. However this is our floating holiday. So when the 4th of July falls on a weekend they give is MLK day off. I would much rather have a warm day off in July rather than a cold day off in January. Despite the cold I spent a wonderful day shopping with my friend Danae and bought myself a little gift. I have been really wanting a Keurig Single Brew Coffee Machine.

So I was at Kohl's and they were on sale AND I had a 30% off coupon. So what better of a time to pick one up. I was nervous Matt wouldn't like it as much as I did since he drinks more coffee than I do but he loves it. Its very cool you brew single servings of coffee. I like it for the variety and freshness. I can brew a fresh cup of coffee of any flavor that I would like. So with the machine we got a variety pack of k-cups, which is the coffee and filter in a small plastic disposable cup. I just placed an order for some more k-cups after Matt and I decided which ones were our favorites. With the machine we got a coupon code for 2 free boxes when you order 2 boxes. So my order came yesterday with 4 boxes. We ordered Irish Cream, Hazelnut, Italian Blend (which is like regular coffee) and Southern Pecan, which I am drinking this morning and its very good.

Then for my birthday my good buddy Danae got me the Keurig My Cup which is a reusable cup that you can use your own ground coffee in. I tested it out this Monday and it worked like a charm.

My furry babies are home

Jaxson & Daisy went in on Monday morning to the vet to get fixed and to get front declawed. I felt so bad taking them in. I didn't want to hurt them. I figured I was going to miss them while they were gone but I really, really missed having them around a lot. They had to be at the vet's for 2 days. So they finally came home tonight. The vets office said they were doing so well after surgery that they didn't think they were going to have any problems. When I called Tuesday to check on them they girls in the office sounded like they were having a lot of fun with my kitty's. So tonight when I went to pick them up I was thinking I was going to have a hard time getting them back. I am just glad that they are home and now I just have to keep Morgan & Sydney's grubby mitts off of them so that they can heal up for the next couple of days. Wish me luck on that one. Ha-ha!

Welcome to the Dirty Thirty

This past Saturday night I celebrated my 30th birthday with about 30 of my closest friends. What is better than a 30th Birthday Bash? A Twilight themed 30th birthday bash I tell you. I have to say I feel like I had the best birthday party ever. Great friends, great fun and everything Twilight. The party could not have came at a better time. I had the week from hell and was about to have a nervous breakdown by Friday. Then Friday night I was putting together all of the last details and baked the cake for my party. I was very excited to be making my cake. It was Twilight themed of coarse and it encompass all 4 of the Twilight Saga books. So Saturday when the cake was frosted and all of the finishing touches were put on I was amazed at how great the cake turned out. It was delish as well.

A Big Thank You to all of my girls who came out to celebrate with me. What a great group of friends from my oldest friends to some of my newest friends.

I was so glad to see I wasn't the only one who dressed up. Lynsie and I were both Rosalie Cullen!

I thought Jenny & Tony made an awesome Victoria & Laurent!

Cheers to being 30!!!

New Moon DVD Release Date

I was browsing online yesterday and came across a post on FB that said that the New Moon DVD was going to be released on March 20, 2010. So I am on the count down until I can purchase this. 2 months to go and I can watch this movie daily. Honestly I have no clue how I got to be so obsessed with Twilight, New Moon, Robert Pattinson, and everything that goes along with this CRAZE! No clue at all but I LOVE it! I have seen New Moon twice. I first went with my friends Tim, Tiffany, & Kelly. Then I went again a few months later with my Mom and Morgan. I was a little nervous to take Morgan because there were a few violent parts in the movie and it is rated PG-13 after all. But to my surprise there were at least 5-6 little girls in the theater that day about the same age as Morgan. Since I had already seen the movie I just had her cover her eyes for the "scary" parts. Morgan loved the movie but I think it was a little long for her. She did ask to go home toward the end of the movie. I am sure once this movie comes out on DVD she will want to watch is as much as I will at home. The count down has begun!

They are getting so BIG

The kitten are getting so big. They are 14 weeks now. They will soon be going in to get fixed and declawed. They will be at the vet's for 2 days. We will all miss them very much while they are there recovering.
Here are some new pictures of the furry little babies.

This is Jaxson. He's the big boy and has such fluffy soft fur!

Here is Daisy. Shes so petite and silky soft.

The girls both love the kittens so much. Everyday when we come home from picking the girl up at daycare they want to run home and see the kitties. I am so glad that they are enjoying them so much. They girls are a great help. They love to help feed the kittens and scoop poop. Might as well get as much help as I can while it lasts.
